which the gift is made, up to a maximum of 50% of the donor's adjusted

matching gift programs.
Gifts in Kind
Gifts of materials, time and services are an important part of sustaining our
program. Please contact us for further information.
Memorial Gifts
A gift may be made in memory of friends and relatives. Families may specify
how these funds may be used to support areas of the VASH program.
In Honor Gifts
Donations may be made in honor of someone who has made a difference in
your life.
Gifts of Appreciated Stock and Mutual Funds
These gifts offer two-fold tax savings. Donors pay no capital gains taxes on
the increased value of appreciated stock and receive an income tax
deduction for the full market value at the time of the gift. Gifts of appreciated
stock are fully deductible up to the maximum of 30% of your adjusted gross
income, and must have been owned for more than twelve months. Please
consult your tax advisor regarding your current situation.
